JOB DESCRIPTION: This role is responsible for designing and developing robust production pipelines optimized for cloud computing, specifically tailored for a variety of Data and AI applications. The role involves engaging in software development activities, including architecture design, coding, unit testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance of advanced data processing systems focused on sensor and time series data. Implement and optimize data enrichment and dataset creation processes to align with organizational goals, ensuring that data handling from collection to post-processing enhances the product development. The role involves the development of innovative software solutions utilizing Python and cutting-edge data processing and machine learning libraries. The position also requires the upholding of high coding standards and quality control through the implementation of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct thorough root-cause analyses to identify and resolve challenges, thereby enhancing system performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions are aligned with business goals and user needs.
This position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 20%.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field and 3 years of experience in job offered or other closely related position. Must have experience with each of the following: Vehicle electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensors; Localization and map generation processes, GNSS/INS-based localization systems, including PPP, RTK, and PPK systems; Designing and implementing cutting-edge DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions; Software development using Python, including advanced data processing and machine learning libraries, AWS or other cloud service providers; and Providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers, fostering high coding standards and promoting best practices in software development.
Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field and 5 years (60 months) of experience in job offered or other closely related position. Must have experience with each of the following: Vehicle electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensors; Localization and map generation processes, GNSS/INS-based localization systems, including PPP, RTK, and PPK systems; Designing and implementing cutting-edge DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions; Software development using Python, including advanced data processing and machine learning libraries, AWS or other cloud service providers; and Providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers, fostering high coding standards and promoting best practices in software development.
