Position Overview
Axiobionics is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Medical Biller to join our growing team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who understands medical billing processes, insurance verification, and claims management — especially within the medical device or healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities

Submit and track insurance claims accurately and efficiently

Verify patient benefits and insurance eligibility

Follow up on denied or delayed claims and manage appeals

Work closely with clinical, sales, and administrative teams to ensure proper documentation

Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with payer guidelines

Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, patients, and providers
Qualifications
-
2+ years of medical billing experience (DME or medical device billing preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, and reimbursement processes

Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and/or VA systems is a plus
-
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency with billing software and electronic medical records

Strong written and verbal communication skills
