Description:

We are a small healthcare technology company in Ann Arbor seeking a local IT Support Specialist to support our Microsoft 365 infrastructure and provide hands-on technical assistance.

The Role

You'll work to help in a ground breaking company that is making impact to 1000s of patient lives every year. Your role is to be the local expert who understands our M365/Azure environment, can troubleshoot issues in person, and ensure our systems remain HIPAA-compliant.

What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site IT support for a team of approximately 10 users

  • Support our new Microsoft 365 and Azure environment (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)

  • Assist with migration from legacy systems including on-premises email, Slack, Dropbox, and Google Calendar

  • Help configure and maintain HIPAA-compliant settings across cloud services

  • Manage Mac devices and ensure proper integration with M365

  • Support wireless network security and general infrastructure needs

  • Coordinate with offshore team on migration tasks and scripted deployments

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID)

  • Strong macOS support experience

  • Local to Ann Arbor / Washtenaw County – must be available on-site as needed

  • Understanding of identity management and single sign-on concepts

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-102, MS-900, or equivalent)

  • HIPAA compliance experience in healthcare/life sciences

  • Familiarity with passwordless authentication and conditional access policies

  • Experience migrating from Google Workspace or Slack to M365
