Essential Duties include: - Load, unload, transport, deliver and pickup college mail, parcels, supplies, materials, and equipment as directed.
- Process all domestic and international inbound/outbound mail, goods, materials, equipment and furnishings.
- Works with and maintains supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Maintain a college E-bay site/Garage Sale, Sealed bid or donation format for Property Disposition.
- Accurately record and maintain records of departmental equipment, via software program (FAMIS).
- Stay informed of Federal, State of Michigan, The College and Departmental Policies, Regulations, Guidelines, and Procedures including, but not limited to DOT, FCC, US Postal Services, and State of Michigan – DEQ, Sales Tax, and MSDS – Right to Know Law).
- Establish and maintain related work files of accurate data, data files and records.
- Ensure adequate departmental supplies, materials and downloaded postage funds are readily available to meet the needs of the department.
- Identify equipment and furnishings containing hazardous and/ or universal waste components. Dismantle, test and properly dispose of Universal Waste components per Universal Waste Management guidelines.
- Ensure college and federal asset tagged items, flowing thru the department are reported to the college’s asset management team.
- Provide operational support for college sponsored and on-site community events and programs.
- Ensure the timely same day pickup, delivery and processing of rush requests.
- Actively maintain an orderly, clean, organized work zone and facility.
- Utilize artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools and software, to support job-related functions and improve efficiency, accuracy, communication, documentation, planning, training, troubleshooting, reporting, work management, and other operational responsibilities, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance on campus is required for this position.

| Minimum Qualifications: | Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years full time successful related work experience, or successful completion of thirty-six (36) college credit hours of study in a related field and one (1) year related work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge and use of oracle-based software programs – such as FAMIS and SCT – Banner.
- Demonstrated ability to operate mechanical and hydraulic lift trucks and other motorized vehicles (cars/vans/trucks). Includes obtaining and maintaining of equipment certifications, as required (i.e., hi-lo certification).
- Acquire and maintain a government issued Chauffeur Driver’s License within two (2) weeks of starting date.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write English, follow basic operating instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting at least 60 pounds of material or equipment waist high, the ability to travel from building to building and floor to floor.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with clients, co-workers, and management in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way.\May be required to operate a vehicle for approved College business. Must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated, meet the College’s Authorized Driver requirements, successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record review, and comply with all College vehicle use and safety policies.
- Demonstrated ability to use standard workplace technology and emerging AI-supported tools relevant to the position. Ability to evaluate AI-generated information for accuracy and appropriateness, maintain confidentiality of institutional information, and exercise sound judgment and ethical practices when using AI technologies in support of work-related responsibilities.
