Position Summary: The Part-Time Auto Body Laboratory Assistant supports Auto Body (ATT) credit courses by providing hands-on assistance in instructional lab settings. This role is essential in facilitating student learning, maintaining laboratory safety, and ensuring an organized and efficient lab environment. The Lab Assistant works under the supervision of faculty members to assist students with auto body repair techniques, equipment operation, and coursework. This position requires adherence to standardized safety protocols and the professionalism to serve as a role model for WCC students. The part time auto body lab assistant will play a critical role in fostering a safe and professional learning environment, ensuring students follow industry-standard safety protocols while using tools, equipment, and materials in all lab-based courses. Additionally, lab assistants must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to serve as a positive role model for WCC students, demonstrating ethical behavior, workplace professionalism, and industry best practices.
