Position Summary:
This part-time position assists the Enrollment Onboarding Coordinator in the daily operations of the Student Orientation and Onboarding department by answering enrollment and student service questions for new students, working on projects as assigned, and supporting other on-going projects and programs for the Enrollment Management and Student Experience division.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level customer service to all college populations by offering information and directions with regards to all student services.
• Assist with processes for students attending an Orientation session and other college events.
• Provide written and verbal guidance to new and prospective students on topics such as campus resources, student success, enrollment, and registration.
• Assist and support staff assigned to conduct Orientation sessions.
• Offer demonstrations to students regarding online tools.
• Communicate preliminary information regarding counseling, advising, financial aid, and student accounting as requested.
• Inventory department supplies.
• Update department procedures.
• Interact with the Information Services Help Desk and Facilities to resolve problems.
• Monitor and input Orientation data.
• Assist with on and off Campus Events, as needed.
• Complete special projects as requested by the Enrollment Onboarding Coordinator.
• Regular attendance on campus is required for this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours/Schedule:
Day, evening and Saturday hours, with some variable hours during peak registration times. 10-15 hours a week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent amount of coursework.
• Two (2) years relevant work experience.
• Ability to work during College operating hours of M – F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as, at least one evening Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-7:00pm and some required Saturdays 8:30 a.m. -3:00 p.m. Additional evening, afternoon, or morning hours may be requested during peak times.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Skilled in conflict resolution.
• Experienced in effective communication with diverse populations.
• Ability to multi-task and fluctuate with peak work demands and high stress periods.
• Ability to maintain confidential materials.
• Experience with Internet browsers, email and web searches.
• Keyboarding ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a community college environment preferred.
