Tulip Healthy Living LLC, located in the Ann Arbor area, is a research and development start-up company with a focus on developing rehabilitation furniture to promote mobility in patients or office workers. The company is currently preparing for a product launch.
We are seeking a motivated and health-focused Sales Specialist to represent our innovative ergonomic office desk designed to reduce sitting time and improve wellness. This role is ideal for someone with a background as a Physical Therapist Assistant, personal trainer, fitnesss or wellness professional who enjoys educating people and building relationships in the health community. The Sales Specialist will present our ergonomic solutions to patient support groups, wellness communities, and healthcare-related organizations, helping individuals understand how to reduce sitting time, and how proper ergonomics can support comfort, and long-term health. This is a consultative sales role where education and trust are key. You’re educating, not hard selling. Your knowledge/experience in the field becomes a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our ergonomic desk to patient support groups, wellness programs, and community organizations. We are also interested in connecting with Parkinson’s disease community organizations and patient support groups for
long-term health for people living with Parkinson's.
Build relationships with physical therapy clinics, rehabilitation centers, fitness studios, and health professionals
Educate audiences on posture, ergonomics, and the dangers of sitting too much
Generate and follow up on sales leads from events and presentations
Attend health, wellness, and rehabilitation events
Provide personalized recommendations to customers based on their ergonomic needs
Track outreach activities and sales opportunities using CRM tools
Qualifications
Background as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), personal trainer, kinesiology graduate, or similar health/fitness field
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Passion for health and tackling the pandemic of sitting too much in our society.
Ability to explain health concepts in simple, engaging language
Comfortable with consultative sales and relationship building
Self-motivated and able to manage a field-based schedule
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for presentations
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Preferred Experience or strong interest in
Experience working with healthy clients, as well as patients dealing with a variety of illnesses
Previous experience in healthcare sales, wellness coaching, or medical device sales
Experience presenting to groups, workshops, or educational seminars
