Summary of the Role
Are you looking for an opportunity to build a market-changing product? The Senior Product Manager, APIs and Integrations role leads the delivery of a suite of interconnected product experiences that revolutionize the income tax preparation process for U.S. tax & accounting professionals.
Your mission will be to build robust API and integration infrastructure to create an automated and connected tax preparation experience across our broad portfolio of award-winning U.S. tax products and capabilities. This mission serves our wider vision to create the most connected, automated, insight-driven, and AI-enhanced open ecosystem that makes tax, accounting, and audit professionals more successful and delights their clients. In this role, you will report to the Director of Product Management in the Tax, Accounting & Advisory Product team supporting the Tax & Accounting Professional's business.

TR has a bold vision to be the leader in AI-powered, content-driven technology, and the Product Manager will work closely with colleagues from Product, Compliance, Engineering, TR Labs, and Design teams who are already dedicated to delivering on this mission. Teams are working closely with customers to create a product experience that is unmatched in the market today. In this role, you will work with leaders and stakeholders from these teams in refining our product roadmap, while also playing a very hands-on role in leading cross-functional distributed product teams through product discovery and delivery.
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Develop strong product intuition by interpreting and assessing customer problems, business needs, and opportunities and offering potential solutions with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
- Build world-class capabilities and products by creating a vision for the product, by maintaining the product roadmap, and by partnering closely with the dev and UX teams to execute the roadmap and deliver it efficiently. This includes serving as the customer voice for the engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, and using metrics to monitor and measure progress.
- Demonstrate leadership by taking extreme ownership of both features and products, its performance and reliability, and delighting our clients with a positive experience.
- You will show that you can learn from your experiences, recover from setbacks, and effectively evangelize the product vision to colleagues.
- You will be a well-rounded API expert for our teams by staying on the cutting edge technology development. You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the API platform, aligning with overall business objectives and technical capabilities. You will also collaborate closely with engineering teams on API design, ensuring adherence to best practices, consistency, and optimal developer experience.
- Effectively collaborate and organize with other departments in teams within the organization ensuring projects and requirements are understood and committed across these teams. You will need to conduct regular follow ups to ensure all teams are on track and be prepared to pivot in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Foundational Skills
Successful Product Manager (PM) candidates will exhibit and show the aspiration to further develop the following skills:

- Leadership - You’ll work closely with engineers and product owners to drive feature releases.
- Technical – You have a strong technical knowledge that knows how APIs and interconnected systems work together.
- Design Thinking – You’ll play an important part in the design of new features, setting the stage for engineering.
- Cross-functional collaboration – You’ll not only work with different teams but different departments in the organization and will need to collaborate effectively with all of them.
- Communication – You will have strong communication skills to condense complicated technical enhancements so the average user can understand.
- Effective Execution – You are results driven and will be able to take a concept and release it to market.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience in creating tax & accounting SaaS products strongly preferred
- Experience delivering projects utilizing APIs, integrations with other products, or internal technical tools
- Experience or knowledge in AI and Agentic AI systems
- Proven high energy, highly collaborative approach working in cross-functional matrixed environments to drive product delivery and product outcomes
- Experience or knowledge with Postman, Webhooks, software development
