Job Summary
- Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As a MEMS Development Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to design, characterize, improve MEMS devices and build SiTime’s next generation of MEMS products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Design MEMS devices and characterize the electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
- Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS design, data collection and analysis.
- Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials and fabrication.
- Interface with local and overseas vendors.
- Work in cross-functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
- Drive and/or support projects and other company goals as needed.
- Working/supporting other projects as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ph.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent
- Skilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
- Knowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional results.
Desired Characteristics & Attributes:
- 1+ years of industry experience
- Basic knowledge of programing languages, circuits, metrology equipment and methods.
- Knowledge of finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and signal processing tools (Matlab).
