Founded in 1999, SCRAP Creative Reuse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. SCRAP Creative Reuse Centers make up a network of nonprofit reuse art and craft supply storefronts serving four local communities: SCRAP PDX in Portland, Oregon; SCRAP BMORE in Baltimore, Maryland; SCRAP RVA in Richmond, Virginia; and SCRAP A2 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We take donations of clean, reusable art and craft supplies and make them available to the communities at a low cost. We have lively, hands-on reuse education programs for kids, workshops for adults, and skill-building for all ages. We are proud to link arms with the other creative reuse centers all over the world to strengthen reuse resources everywhere.
