POSITION SUMMARY

The Art Director will be responsible for the execution of digital, print, event, or retail projects for the organization. This role will aid the in-house graphic artists team to deliver high impact creative, visual centers, and ad hoc projects that create visually compelling experiences for both wholesale and consumer audiences while ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing objectives.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and execute various creative projects for digital, social media, print, event, and/or retail, which may include brand and promotional campaigns, landing pages, email, banners, print collateral, packaging, displays, fixture and overlay work, and more.
  • Lead storytelling initiatives across various RealTruck brands
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to understand project requirements and goals.
  • Deliver assets that exhibit creative abilities and mastery of fundamentals for digital and traditional media.
  • Review and approve design materials, ensuring they meet quality and brand guidelines.
  • Work cross-functionally and within the team to participate in all stages of the design process and deliver creative solutions.
  • Communicate timelines and status, ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented and present to key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience designing for an agency or brand required.
  • Portfolio review required.

    • Adobe Creative Suite mastery.
    • Capable of responding to Executive Creative Director and Stakeholder's requests fluidly.
    • Collaborative relationship builder.
    • Ability to work with virtual teams across multiple offices.
    • Ability to be flexible and pivot based on project requirements and changes in scope.
    • Self-starting creator with the ability to perform at high level in a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing environment.

    Travel

    • Occasional travel required; 10% - 15% total.

    Visual Acuity

    • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

    • This position operates in a professional hybrid office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
