NSF is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Information Security team to assist with the design and execution of processes and ensure compliance with ISR accreditation requirements, ensuring NSF certifications are technically sound and supported by appropriate documentation. This includes ensuring global consistency in technical and accreditation processes, facilitating audit delivery and technical operations, and focusing on client relationships.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in Information Security and security controls
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, ISO 2000)
Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance systems
Understanding of security artifacts
Knowledge of change management processes
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong organizational and project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Oracle applications
Experience supporting GRC in CMMC environments
Assist customers with basic technical questions on security controls
Aid the accreditation audit process
Collaborate with the team on customer service, accreditation, and other information security needs and requirements
Participate in reviewing and gathering information security artifacts
A willingness to learn about the information security audit and accreditation business
Perform other duties as requested
