The Director of Audit Food Production will be responsible for the audit delivery and scheduling functions in North America in support of the business unit’s global growth efforts. This critical role is responsible for the ensuring the efficient, timely, accurate and compliant delivery of audits in Food Production in North America. This role requires a strong working knowledge of the relevant schemes and standards, a data-driven mindset along with strong people leadership skills to drive revenue delivery, business process optimization and operational excellence.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Science or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in the food industry
- Proven track record in P&L management and driving operational excellence
- Strong experience in quality, cost control, and process optimization
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of global regulatory standards and compliance in food and beverage industry
- Results-driven and customer-focused
- Develop and execute a strategy to deliver audit services supporting the accelerated, profitable growth of the relevant business unit(s) in North America
- Ensure client expectations for quality and accuracy of deliverables are consistently met
- Manage resource qualifications & KPI's
- Allocate and schedule audits in compliance with scheme requirements, key accounts, and business needs
- Develop the annual operating plan for audit delivery and work closely with the business leaders and finance to accurately forecast revenue and expenses
- Support development and execution of the 3-year strategy, the annual operating plan, and quarterly forecasts
- Drive strong financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to drive systemic gains in productivity
- Proactively plan and ensure resources and capability to deliver services, in line with business plans and sales pipeline
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, scheme owner and client requirements for training, calibration, quality and reporting requirements
- Address client complaints and other escalation in coordination with business unit leadership
- Identify opportunities for cross-training, automation and optimization of audit including use of AI where appropriate
- Support the commercialization strategy including the identification of key growth bets
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, corporate governance and quality requirements
