The Senior Account Manager (Hybrid Ann Arbor) works directly with clients managing electrical certification projects and opportunities. The senior account manager collaborates with sales to develop and nurture strategic, mutually beneficial relationships between NSF and our clients. This is achieved by focusing on value and alignment across the company. As a dedicated account manager for key client stakeholders, this role builds trust by focusing on customer service and developing and maintaining a long-term relationship with the client. This relationship enables the senior account manager to identify NSF services to solve client issues proactively and as they arise

Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or related field
A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing accounts and/or project management
Knowledge of client relationship management strategies
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Great problem solving and analytical abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Customer service experience and mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of electrical standards and codes
Electrical or mechanical technical experience
Project Management certification
Experience with product safety testing and certification
Proactively manage certification projects for clients by developing project plans to ensure needs and expectations are met
Establish efficient communication channels and liaise between key clients and internal departments to meet client objectives and expectations.
Form collaborative relationships with account management team, sales, laboratories, and operations to share best practices for client knowledge, client engagements and work in tandem to facilitate the growth of client accounts.
Identify areas of opportunity within other NSF business units and existing clients to promote NSF electrical services
Prepare and deliver presentations to key accounts and other relevant stakeholders
Work Environment:
Hybrid – Ann Arbor, MI or Fully Remote.
Some work may be performed at client locations or conferences travel required as needed.
