NSF is seeking a Technical Manager to join our Food Equipment team. This person would support the growth of the electrical safety certifications and will work closely between our internal teams at NSF and some external clients as a Liaison and Partner.

Responsibilities

Manage ISO 17025 scope expansion into new product categories
Manage the renovation of the laboratory space to support electrical testing growth
Train staff on electrical safety certification testing and construction evaluations
Manage the acquisition of testing instrumentation to support growth
Ensure laboratory testing projects are completed on time (Around food equipment ideally)
Quickly and accurately resolve open issues by collaborating with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
Provide outstanding service as the client’s single point of contact
Manage the client interface for both internal and external clients, offering timely updates and prompt responses
Provide client feedback to laboratory management
Determine and communicate testing priorities to the lab
Suggest and support process improvements
Support the launch of new service offerings or other initiatives
Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Utilize and update internal laboratory and customer relationship management systems
Comply with all NSF regulations and requirements

Qualifications

Education: 4-year degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 4 years experience in electrical safety testing to UL and IEC standards
Experience working with diverse clients including technical, commercial, administrative, and managerial personnel
Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
Experience developing or tracking customer satisfaction elements
Knowledge of laboratory testing and technical understanding of physical engineering tests.
Experience with process mapping and/or developing new workflows with internal teams
Clear written communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented precision is required
