Temple Beth Shira is a Reform congregation and Hebrew Religious School, serving West Boca Raton and surrounding areas. It was founded in 2003 by Cantor Bruce and his wife Susan Benson, and Rick & Nancy Alovis. Rick served as Founding President through 2007, as Advertising and Communications Director, and now serves as Co-President along with Joel Tepper. The congregation has grown to 100 families and a religious school with over 25 children. TBS is now led by Rabbi Joan Cubell and is a member of the URJ (Union for Reform Judaism).
