MMI is looking for a Material Technician who is ready to play a key role in supporting our production team by managing and moving materials efficiently, safely, and accurately.
In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with the Shift Supervisor, Mold Setters, and Operators to ensure that raw materials are staged, monitored, and returned as needed. Your work will directly impact production efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver raw materials to work centers and return unused material to proper storage after jobs.

Clean, label, and store materials; prepare work centers for upcoming jobs.

Monitor color feeders, regrind usage, and ensure the correct material is used per job specs.

Assist with cycle counts, inventory tracking, and receiving material deliveries.

Mix/blend materials, ensure drying as required, and maintain cleanliness to prevent contamination.

Follow all safety policies and report issues immediately.

Work alongside supervisors and team members to ensure smooth job transitions.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with resins, regrind processes, color feeders, and material staging.

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Clear communication (written and verbal)

Basic math and computer proficiency (Excel, Word, databases)

Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions
Work Environment & Expectations:
-
Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.

Substantial physical effort - Lifting up to 60lbs. Cleaning and Maintaining Equipment
- Stop production of work center if material is unacceptable
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 6:00am-12:15pm and Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm
