Schedule: 40 hours/week, 10-month Duration
Nature of Work:
This is an entry-level position for professional park planning work. Performs work that involves construction plans, investigations, surveys, or structures with minimal feature complexity using standard engineering principles and methods within landscape architecture design and construction contract administration. Completes projects with a small or limited scope, or assists other landscape architects on projects of larger more complex scope. Performs site visits to evaluate existing conditions and analyze suitability of site for improvements. Attends construction progress meetings and performs administration and oversight of construction projects. Performs specific portions of a broader assignment under the direction of management staff. Due to nature of work, there is limited exercise of judgment on details of work. May be required to adjust and correlate data; recognize discrepancies in study results, construction plans, and project specifications; follow operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes. This position may also assist with field surveying, drafting and construction inspection.
