Nature of Work:
Assist the Market Manager and the Assistant Market Manager II/Outreach Coordinator in the operation of the Wednesday and Saturday Markets. This involves market set-up and take-down, placement of signs and barriers, disposal of trash/recycling/compost, keeping the market office and restrooms clean and neat, and other responsibilities. Administrative tasks include creating daily rent receipts for vendors, collecting daily fees, answering the office phone, processing credit card and SNAP/EBT transactions for the market token currency program, processing market currency reimbursement for vendors, and other related tasks. Aid Market Manager and Assistant Market Manager II/Outreach Coordinator in managing special events and volunteers. Assist with marketing efforts and vendor promotion (e.g., vendor spotlights, social media content, flyering, etc.).

Work Schedule:
18-29 hours per week. Must be available to work Wednesdays and Saturdays, including early morning hours. May include evening hours or other days for special events. Teleworking is possible on non-market days.
