Currently, we are looking to add a Marketing Director to the team:

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Primary curator of caymanchem.com and is responsible for the look, feel, and corporate image of the Cayman brand through this central interface with the public. Must work smoothly and efficiently with IT staff to establish quick and effortless searches and navigation. Challenges marketing staff to harvest and regularly report an intensive set of user metrics and to constantly improve Cayman’s rankings and SEO. Insures a vibrant and effective graphics capability within marketing to provide image excellence throughout all of the department home pages, posters, documents, white papers and commercial items that bear the Cayman logo and brand. Ensures that all secondary and subordinate websites (CABRI, Caymandryice, and Distribution partners representing Cayman) show a consistent and positive corporate public image.
  • Develops and executes a multi-year Marketing Strategy in collaboration with each Division VP/Director consisting of direct marketing campaigns to bring added attention to areas of Cayman excellence and rapid growth potential. This will take the form of a formal written Marketing Plan developed in cooperation with the CEO no later than October 1 of each year and presented to the ELT and to the CFO as part of the annual Cayman Budget/Plan.
  • Co-operates with the Sales Department to gauge the impacts of campaigns and to collect feedback from customers. Analyzes departmental sales figures associated with every marketing activity, email, promotion or campaign to identify direct causation and attribution, in order determine which campaigns were most effective.
  • Supervise and manage the daily workflow of the marketing department staff, providing coaching and setting tasks and objectives for every member of the department. Authors annual performance reviews as well as daily and weekly check-ins and evaluations ensuring objectives and performance are meeting expectations.
  • Searches out and eliminates institutionalization and sclerotic procedures and business processes that can only be defended as “something we have always done” without further reasoning or logic. Always opts for the simple and robust instead of the laborious and needlessly complex.
  • Directs a vibrant social media campaign across all relevant platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Reddit, TikTok and Instagram. Adds, deletes, and shifts emphasis as various new and old platforms wax and wane in relevance. Confers closely and frequently with the CEO to create engagement.
  • Learns and exercises the ability to project a persona unique to each platform and audience.
  • Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ Years in marketing or related, preferably in the life sciences field.
  • Software/Applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, Windows).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, be organized, and pay attention to detail.
