Position Summary – a2Tech360 Intern
Ann Arbor SPARK, a not-for-profit business accelerator, is the driving force in establishing the Ann Arbor region’s reputation as a leading location for business creation and expansion. We do this by identifying and supporting businesses at every stage, from ideation and innovation to commercialization and scaling to growth and sustainability.
SPARK is seeking a flexible, highly motivated intern to support a2Tech360 and the marketing team. The position is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience with marketing, website management, and event coordination.
Key Deliverables for This Position:
Event & Marketing Support

Add and maintain event listings across local and regional event calendars.

Monitor event-related email inboxes, responding to inquiries and escalating as needed.

Maintain and update event data and information in multiple platforms, including Slack, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Google Drive.

Provide day-to-day event support as assigned, including preparing materials, ordering swag, and tracking inventory.
Website & Digital Tasks

Monitor and provide data to update event information and graphics for website

Assist with uploading and organizing event-related documents, images, and content.
Logistics & Coordination

Help with inventory management and organization of event supplies.

Coordinate swag orders, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with branding.

Provide on-site or virtual support during events as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Candidates should be interested in learning all aspects of marketing, event coordination, and community engagement.

Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Salesforce.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment.
Details and Compensation:

The internship runs for five months, averaging 20 hours per week. General availability during core business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) is expected, though flexible scheduling may be possible. During a2Tech360 (Sept 22-Oct 2), hours may also include occasional evenings.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour.

The internship location is Ann Arbor SPARK, 330 East Liberty Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The position will be a combination of remote and office work, based on mutual agreement and state guidelines.
