The Ann Arbor SPARK Marketing Coordinator provides support for the marketing team in the development of strategy, content, and design of marketing materials and execution of SPARK communications.
This position will report to the director of marketing. This is a full-time position, with the expectation of working in the Ann Arbor office 3 days per week and the remainder remotely, if desired. Additional in-person work will be required to support key events (Annual Meeting, a2Tech360, at a minimum). This position requires regular travel within Washtenaw County and occasional travel to the Detroit area. Candidates must be able to travel independently to these locations.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll:
- Use your creative strengths to design a wide variety of materials (both digital and print)
- Support the writing and publishing of blog posts, press releases, and other content
- Help create, schedule, and manage content across SPARK's social media platforms
- Contribute to updates and additions to SPARK websites (a2Tech360.com and annarborusa.org)
- Assist in tracking marketing campaign deliverables by utilizing your project management skills. Support the team in meeting timelines, aligning assets across platforms, and ensuring campaigns are smoothly executed from concept to completion
- Provide support for the coordination, promotion, and execution of events, including onsite support during high-profile programming such as the Annual Meeting and a2Tech360
- Provide admin support as needed

- Ability to work independently, take initiative, communicate effectively, and collaborate as part of a team.
