Job Description
Job summary
Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Maintains established inventory standard levels of supplies. Ensures correct delivery, packaging and shipment of finished goods. Processes order documentation.
Summary of essential job functions
Loads and unloads materials and products within a warehouse. Utilizes hand trucks and forklifts or other handling equipment to move material/finished goods to and from trucks or within the storage facility. Completes/inspects packaging and shipping requirements as specified. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Minimum requirements
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience. Certification in forklift / industrial truck operation required.
Preferred: Recent (within the past 3 years) experience in short-to-long distance hauling for an employer that required a valid CDL. Not Required.
